The Improv Lab
Run with it… gain confidence and experience improvising
In this fun, confidence building 7-week workshop, you’ll learn and apply the fundamentals and principles of improv, focusing on various improvisational exercises, games, and short-form scene work that encourage communication, active listening, trust, agreement, and character development.
This workshop is designed for beginners to those with some improv experience and specifically for actors, comedians, hosts, speakers, or anyone else who wants to give improv a try. (More advanced workshops coming soon.) You will have lots of opportunity to apply these concepts into fully improvised scenes in a fun, creative, and encouraging atmosphere, led by accomplished improv coach, Joel McCrary.

These sessions will continue throughout the year. Each session is a six-week, in-person course with the seventh week being a performance for family & friends. And of course, we’ll want to encourage people to take more advanced improv workshops as they are offered in the near future.
