Originally from Australia, Dan’s passion for film started in 2001 through his local church. There he was able to grow his skills as a cameraman, editor, and motion graphics artist. This led to him picking up crew positions on a couple of locally shot feature films, and started his venture into writing and directing his own short films, with his first short picking up first prize in the Short On Compassion film festival.
Since 2001, he has worked in Australia, the UK, and the USA on multiple projects spanning commercials, television shows, web series, news casts, short films, and feature films. He moved to L.A. in 2017, where he has furthered his passion for film, and continues to work for local media houses, including Variety Magazine, AntiVillain Media, and Filmpool. In his spare time, he and his wife, Sara, love being parents to their daughter, Zoe. He’s also active in his local church, and continues to write and direct shorts and features.
